We’re Going On A Minibeast Hunt!
8th Jun 2026
Today P3G braved the weather and set out on a minibeast hunt in our school’s nature garden. Armed with pooters, magnifying glasses and a list of minibeasts, the children were very determined to find as many as possible! They worked in pairs to look for suitable habitats and discovered that many minibeasts like to live under logs, rocks and stones or in the soil or under leaves. They were delighted to find spiders, (I wasn’t 🫣😳), woodlice, beetles, slugs, snails, worms, flies and even wasps! Great fun was had by all!
