Causeway Coasts and Glens invited 9 pupils to the official opening of Bellerena Railway Station. It was a surprise to hear that the Queen and Prince Philip were to open the station. All the pupils looked so smart and behaved impeccably. Our pupils presented flowers to the Queen who stopped to talk to the Central children. Mrs Brien accompanied the children and was so proud of them, they were a real credit to their school and indeed Limavady. That evening some of the children appeared on UTV and BBC television! The Belfast Telegraph and local newspapers interviewed Central pupils and took lots of photographs. Well done Central pupils, all the staff and parents are proud of you.
