In June 2015 our P6 classes planted Sunflower seeds in old yogurt pots in the classroom. Later we transplanted the young seedlings into the raised beds in our school garden. Although the weather during the Summer holidays was very poor we were delighted when we came back to school in September to see our plants had grown to nearly 3 metres!!!
