In relation to our Weather topic in P3 the children were very excited to use their technology skills to create paper helicopters. Once everyone had completed theirs, we took the finished models outside to test them. We had great fun experimenting from different heights and positions. The children also experimented with various adaptations e.g. with or without a paperclip at the base to see which enabled the helicopters to have the best flight paths. They also discovered that wind direction and gusts had an effect on flights! The children loved their lesson!
