This half term we have been learning all about Pets and Vets so we were very excited to receive a visit from Cathy Clyde from Dog's Trust. She brought her poodle Gillie to see all the Primary One children. Gillie was very well behaved and entertained us with some clever tricks, while Cathy talked to us about caring for dogs. The children were so excited to meet Gillie and have the chance to give her a gentle stroke.
We would like to thank all the children and their parents for sending in their generous donations for the Dog's Trust rehoming centre in Ballymena. Cathy was so pleased and grateful for all the food, blankets, toys and treats that the children brought in for the dogs. Well done Primary One!
