On Thursday 6th April the Primary One children attended an 'eggstra' special Easter event hosted by LCDI. The sun shone brightly and we all enjoyed a fantastic morning with lots of fun activities.
We had creative and crafty fun making a super cute chick puppet and colouring an Easter picture. We loved searching outside for Easter eggs that the Easter Bunnies had hidden - it was hard work but we managed to find them all! We went to the garden centre and planted sunflower seeds and peas. We learned about the different parts of a plant and what it needs to make it grow.
When we came back to LCDI we swapped our Easter Egg Hunt tokens for a goodie bag full of yummy treats - given to us by the Easter Bunnies! We'd like to say a big thank you and a Happy Easter to all the staff of LCDI who organised such an 'eggciting' event and looked after the Primary One children so well - we had a brilliant time!
