We've been really busy in Primary 1 learning about Harvest time and all the different fruits and vegetables that grow in our country and in hot countries. We were so pleased today to visit Mr Howe's fruit and vegetable shop in Limavady. Mr Howe showed us lots of different types of fruit and vegetables and he explained that these are very healthy foods that are good for our bodies. We really enjoyed playing a guessing game with some unusual fruits and we're looking forward to tasting some exotic fruits during our buffet snack on Friday. We really want to say a great big thankyou to Mr Howe for such a wonderful visit and sending us some yummy fruit and vegetables to taste!
On our way home, we stopped off at Hunter's Bakery and picked up an extra-special snack - delicious Halloween gingerbread men! Thank you so much Hunter's Bakery for our tasty break today - they really were a Halloween treat!
