Parental Involvement in Numeracy

Thank you to all of the Primary 4 and Primary 5 parents who attended the very informative maths information evenings. The P4 parents learned about how maths is taught in schools and the importance of mental maths strategies. The P5 parents learned how to takeaway using the decomposition method (not 1 to the top and 1 to the bottom!!) Timothy Doyle from Maths Improvement NI hosted both of these evenings and all parents went home with lots of ideas to help their children.
