P.1 Sponsored Walk

Primary 1 were so excited to go on their Sponsored Walk on Friday morning. It was great fun to put on our high-vis jackets and walk with our partners. We saw lots of signs of Autumn as we looked around - there were berries on the trees and bushes and brown leaves had fallen off the trees. We saw some spiky chestnut shells and helicopters from sycamore trees. Some grannies and aunties gave us a wave as we walked past the houses. We waved to the bus driver and his passengers and we said hello to the post lady as she delivered her letters. We were glad to get back to school and have a rest and a tasty chocolate treat!
