Topic Time: Looking at local Fruit and Veg

Our P2’s visited Marshall Howe as part of our ‘Food Glorious Food’ topic. We had so much fun learning all about where our fruit and vegetables come from, how they grow and what parts of the plant we eat. But the best part of all was sampling some of the delicious, fresh fruits our local greengrocers had to offer.
Thank you so much to John Howe for having us and for the wonderful fruit salads that were delivered to school. Learning about food doesn’t get much better than the first hand experience you gave us!
