Collaborative Learning in the Great Outdoors!
Recently, we were delighted to host our partner schools, St. Matthew’s and Roe Valley Integrated, for a productive and engaging Shared Education day centered on outdoor learning.
Using our school’s dedicated outdoor learning areas, pupils explored a "Fairytale" theme through a variety of hands-on, curriculum-linked activities:
• STEM Challenges: Measuring "Jack’s Beanstalk" and engineering new bridge designs for the "Three Billy Goats Gruff."
• Literacy & Exploration: Scavenger hunts to assist "Little Red Riding Hood" with her deliveries.
• Creative Arts: Using natural clay to sculpt self-portraits that were 'just right' in our "Goldilocks" workshop.
It was a fantastic day of friendship, fresh air, and legendary teamwork. Huge thanks to our partner schools for making the "Once Upon a Time" come to life!
