P3 all had lots of fun learning outdoors marvelling at the glorious autumn colours! We were able to recognise the leaves and their seeds! We now know sycamore, oak, horse chestnut and beech trees. To help understand seed dispersal we threw the sycamore’s winged helicopters up into the air and watched them spin and twirl. Giggles and laughter abound! After that we returned to class with our colourful leaves to create leaf rubbings. The children were amazed at the “magic” they produced!
