Our P1 pupils have been ‘SNOW’ busy enjoying lots of exciting Arctic adventures!
The Open Area has been transformed into a chilly, icy landscape where imaginative play has sparked curiosity, teamwork and a growing interest in animals that live in cold habitats.
The children have built dens and igloos, dressed up as Polar Explorers, searched for cold‑weather animals, caught fish for their tea and recorded their discoveries in notebooks. They also created fantastic Arctic worlds through small‑world play, made snowy models with playdough, designed paper snowflakes and explored icebergs and sea creatures in the water tray – there has been lots of excitement all round!
