A Special Visit from Baby Arabella! 👶✨
Our ‘New Life’ topic truly came to life this week when we welcomed two very special guests to our classroom: Baby Arabella and her mummy, Claire.
There is nothing quite like a real-life visitor to spark curiosity, and the children were absolutely captivated! It was a wonderful opportunity for our young learners to move beyond books and see firsthand what it takes to care for a new arrival.
What We Discovered
Through a wonderful Q&A session with Claire, the children explored the essentials of baby care, learning all about:
-
The Basics: What babies eat, how they sleep, and why they need so many cuddles!
-
Growing Up: How Arabella communicates her needs without using words yet.
-
Gentle Hands: The importance of being quiet and calm around someone so small.
The room was filled with "oohs" and "aahs" as the children watched Arabella interact with her surroundings. Seeing our classroom through the eyes of a baby made the concept of 'New Life' feel tangible, exciting, and very real.
"The children were so gentle and observant. It was a heart-melting way to see their learning in action!"
A huge thank you to Claire and Arabella for sharing their morning with us and helping our topic bloom!
