At Limavady Central, we believe that pupil voice is a vital part of our school community. Alongside our active School Council, children also have the opportunity to be elected to our Eco-Council, where they help lead environmental initiatives and promote sustainable practices.

Last year, we were proud to be awarded the prestigious Green Flag, a recognition of the fantastic work our pupils and staff have done to raise environmental awareness and encourage eco-friendly choices. Our focus was on making the most of our wonderful outdoor spaces and partnering with SUSTRANS to promote safe, active travel to and from school.

This year, we’re excited to work with our pupils to explore how we can improve waste management in school. Together, we’ll look at ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle more effectively, helping us take another step toward a more sustainable future.
