Whose shoes in Primary 1
Primary 1 have been having lots of fun with our new topic 'Whose Shoes'. We read the story of 'The Elves and the Shoemaker' and decided to have a workshop in our Open Area to make and mend shoes. We've been trying on lots of different types of shoes at our shoe shop and making sure they fit before we buy them.
We read the story of 'Pete the Cat - I love my white shoes' and made a Pete picture using shapes. You can follow this link to Pete the Cat.com to watch videos and listen to 'Pete the cat' songs and stories. Don't forget to groove around in your shoes as you listen!
We've been sorting shoes and measuring them using blocks to find out which shoes are the biggest and smallest. We wore our welly boots to school and had lots of fun dancing in them during Musical Pathways with Mr Brown. We looked at the different types of wellies and sorted ourselves into groups. Look at the photos and see if you can guess the reasons for our sets!
We spotted some unusual wellies in our Fairy Garden - those fairies have been working their magic inside the wellies!
