In our class we absolutely love finding out about history and characters from the past. So, it was very exciting for us to experience a full day dedicated to history this week.
It was really interesting to find out about how human settlements in Ireland developed from the earliest times. Thank you to our special visitor, Grace, for delivering such an engaging presentation.
We also found out about famous people from the past, associated with Ireland, including the aviator, Amelia Earhart, who landed her aeroplane near Londonderry.
You can see that we had plenty of fun visiting the ‘Central Museum’, where we had an opportunity to handle artefacts from the past.
