Primary 1 were so excited to welcome Lyn and Ann-Marie from Millburn Veterinary Practice to school to talk to us about their jobs as a vet and vet nurse.
We loved seeing the pictures of all the different animals they have looked after, including dogs, cats, hamsters, tortoises and even a Boa Constrictor snake.
Lyn showed us photographs of some amazing animals that she looked after when she visited South Africa: elephants, rhinos and cheetahs!
We got to meet two gorgeous guinea pigs, Arthur and Chip, and we were able to give them a gentle stroke.
We would like to say a big thank you to both Lyn and Ann-Marie for coming to share their knowledge and expertise with our children - we really appreciate it!
